Summary:
The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is seeking proposals for research and evaluation studies aimed at improving the efficiency, accuracy, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of physical evidence examination and interpretation in publicly funded forensic laboratories. Funded projects will generate practical knowledge directly applicable to the daily operations of these labs, ultimately enhancing the criminal justice system’s ability to solve crimes and deliver justice.
