Throughout the 12-week program, you will collaborate with industry experts, receive comprehensive on-the-job training, and engage in professional development workshops, executive speaker series, and various networking and social events.

As an Engineering Intern, you will actively contribute to multiple projects and activities centered around the development and support of Category Copper cable. By working closely with R&D Engineers and Technicians, you will play a vital role in advancing assigned development projects and gaining exposure to other crucial tasks within our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating as a team member on one or more development projects.
  • Learning and assisting in the testing of copper cable, conducting material analysis, and providing support to the Test Lab during qualification activities.
  • Creating technical documentation.
  • Analyzing data and furnishing statistical information as needed.

Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Currently pursuing a BS, BA, or master’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university, with Junior or Senior standing.
  • Demonstrated academic excellence, maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Eligibility to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Military-affiliated candidates, including Veterans, Military Spouses, and Guard/Reservists, are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrating a curiosity for problem recognition and implementing solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Possessing a well-rounded skill set for both hands-on activities and data analysis/reporting.
  • Having some experience with material properties.
  • Showcasing innovative thinking through outstanding ideas and proposing them to the team.
  • Exhibiting strong initiative, a self-starting mentality, analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced environment and adaptability to changing priorities.
