Education & Qualifications Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce / engineering.
- Have University degree in construction Management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project management.
Work Experiences:
- Work Experience in mechanical engineering / preferably in the field of Heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
- Work Experience in project management within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in United Nations public procurement rules and regulations.
- Work Experience in preventive maintenance of electrical and mechanical installations.
- Work experience in renovation and updgrading of existing system projects.
- Full-Knowledge of understanding of NGOs missions and goals.
Languages:
- Fluency in English and French languages is Required (both oral and written).
- Have a Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable.
Key Responsibilities Career:
- Responsible for serving as Officer in Charge of the Engineering Unit, assuming the full responsibilities of the Chief of Unit.
- Responsible for conducting inspections of the technical infrastructure of the Palais des Nations and its annex buildings.
- Responsible for preparing budgetary projections that serve as a basis for requested capital improvements.
- Responsible for establishing performance indicators for outsourced services.
