About Us:

The Urban Lab is a dynamic team dedicated to building sustainable and inclusive cities, particularly in post-conflict contexts. We collaborate with local communities and stakeholders to analyze, design, and implement urban projects that improve lives and empower residents.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be the backbone of our team, providing efficient administrative support for project documents and data.
  • Source, gather, and compile essential information to fuel our research and analysis.
  • Partner with the Urban Lab team to identify and collect data on urban projects in crisis-affected areas.
  • Leverage your expertise to create insightful maps, drawings, graphics, and reports that inform decision-making.
  • Facilitate participatory workshops and engage diverse stakeholders in the planning process.
  • Offer technical expertise to enhance Urban Lab documents and publications.
  • Stay up-to-date on the Sustainable Development Goals and their application to your work.

Who You Are:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Possess a deep understanding of Microsoft Office suite and data analysis tools.
  • Thrive in multicultural environments and can interact respectfully with diverse individuals.
  • Have experience using computer-aided design (CAD) tools for plan graphics.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in urban planning projects, ideally in post-conflict settings.
  • Are proficient in GIS software and skilled in data analysis and map production.
  • Have prior experience working in crisis contexts and social change projects.
  • Possess strong leadership, design, and project management skills.
  • Understand and embrace the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
