Collaborative Program for Artists and Scientists

Summary:

The European Marine Board (EMB) invites artists to apply for the EMBracing the Ocean Artist-in-Residence Programme 2024-2025. This programme supports artists who want to work with Ocean scientists. The artists and scientists will create artwork together. The artwork will raise awareness of the Ocean and inspire people to protect it. The programme will also give new insights to the scientific research.

Eligibility:

You can apply if you are a creative individual or group from any artistic discipline. You can be an emerging or established artist. You should have experience in co-creation with scientists or communities and focus on sustainability. You can be from any country in the world.

Benefits:

You can get up to 10,000 euros for your project. The funding is for production and post-production costs. You will receive the funding in several instalments according to a payment plan. You will also share the profit and the copyright with the sponsor.
