Funding Sustainable Water Projects in Developing Countries

Summary:

The Elisabeth and Amelie Fund supports projects of Belgian organizations that work with local partners in developing countries to improve access to water in a sustainable way. The fund focuses on school sanitation projects with a hygiene education component. The projects aim to improve schooling conditions by installing ecological sanitation systems, providing hand hygiene facilities, recovering or purifying toilet waste, and raising awareness on water, hygiene, and the environment. The fund also aims to strengthen the capacity of local partners and foster long-term partnerships.

Eligibility:

You can apply if you are a Belgian organization that works with a local partner in one of the eligible countries listed on the website. Your project must be related to water, hygiene and the environment, and must have a clear impact on the target group. Your project must be implemented in 2024 and finished by December 10, 2024. You must fill out the application form correctly and completely.

Benefits:

You can get up to 50,000 euros for your project. The funding is for production and post-production costs. You will receive the funding in several instalments according to a payment plan. You will also share the profit and the copyright with the sponsor.
