Qualification:
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an electrical-related field.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Demonstrated solid work history.
- Strong oral communication skills.
- Enrolled in post-high school education for the Fall 2024 semester.
- Completion of at least one year in a related field (preferred).
- Considered a full-time student with a course load of 12 credits or more.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions effectively.
- Proficient problem-solving skills.
- Dependable and responsible work ethic.
- Positive attitude towards work.
- Adaptability to a flexible work schedule and the ability to work independently without supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully complete safety training and demonstrate compliance with departmental safety policies and guidelines.
- Participate in Waupaca Foundry’s 6-S Program to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Familiarize yourself with company process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs).
- Learn and assist electricians in making electrical adjustments to machinery and software to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with electrical staff to provide support for conduit, wiring, troubleshooting, machine repair, panel building, and other assigned duties.
- Assist in the maintenance updates of electrical schematics and PLC/Robot programs.

The internship will be conducted in Waupaca, Wisconsin, United States.
