The internship program at T-Mobile provides aspiring professionals with practical experience, comprehensive training, and a competitive edge in their future careers. Interns will specialize in Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity, supporting the esteemed Corporate Investigations team. They will actively participate in case development and gain valuable skills in eDiscovery, working on various litigation and employment matters supervised by the Legal Affairs Department. This internship offers a unique platform to learn, contribute, and expand expertise in securing digital environments while making significant contributions to impactful investigations.

Qualification:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program and actively pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Authorized to work legally in the United States.
  • Individuals currently employed by T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are not eligible for internship positions.
  • No work visa sponsorship is provided by the employer for this position. This includes students in F-1 status who may seek sponsorship upon completion of their education.

  • Familiarity with data collection and preservation techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes T-Mobile proprietary software and applications to gather and safeguard documents and digital evidence, including various logging methods employed in cyber-related investigations.
  • Assists in a wide range of litigation matters and investigations, with a specific focus on cyber-related cases, collaborating closely with Legal Affairs, Corporate Investigators, and Digital Security business partners.
  • Conducts forensic preservation of laptops, desktops, and other digital media devices.
  • Analyzes and organizes complex data into appropriate formats for investigative purposes.
  • Executes tasks and initiatives aligned with the strategic goals and policies of Corporate Investigations.
  • Provides nationwide support to the team in various tasks, such as email analysis and tracing, data research, reporting, and trend analysis.
  • Undertakes additional duties and projects as assigned by business management as required.
  • Offers assistance to the Legal Department at T-Mobile.

Benefits:

  • Program participants residing more than 50 miles away from the internship location may be eligible for relocation reimbursement.
  • The hourly wages for interns range from $20 to $40 per hour.
  • The actual pay of the successful candidate will be determined based on their experience and the location of the internship.
