The Business Development MBA Intern, operating under Richemont Regional Functions in New York, plays a vital role in the organization’s activities across the Americas. This position requires a highly resourceful individual with strong leadership, self-motivation, and analytical skills, as it encompasses diverse responsibilities. Reporting to the VP of Strategy & Business Development, the intern is responsible for leading regional projects, conducting research, and generating reports that address economic issues related to the distribution of Maison’s’ products within the region. Moreover, the intern will provide assistance to management by preparing reports, conducting studies, performing analyses, creating presentations, and handling various ad hoc tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research, perform analysis, and generate reports on subjects such as local market trends, macroeconomics, consumer behavior, and market intelligence. These reports will be presented to key stakeholders and management.
  • Analyze monthly sales data and forecast the potential impact of economic factors on future sales.
  • Collaborate with regional stakeholders and Group stakeholders to ensure alignment regarding content and format.
  • Lead and supervise key regional projects, ensuring coordination and alignment among internal and external stakeholders.
  • Address critical issues efficiently and judiciously.
  • Regularly communicate project progress, status, and challenges to key stakeholders and management.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams for assigned initiatives.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in economics, business, or finance from a leading university.
  • 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong quantitative skills and a solid understanding of economics, accounting, and statistics.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • The ability to think critically and evaluate different solutions to problems.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Robust organizational skills.
  • A strategic and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across departments and all levels of management.
  • Cross-cultural work experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in the luxury industry is a plus.
  • Availability for the entire duration of the internship program (June 3rd – August 9th) is required.

Salary:

$20-30/hourly
