Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.) or a related field (minimum sophomore year preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a curiosity for exploring new technologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in engineering software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
- Aptitude with learning code development.
- A solid understanding of engineering principles and design methodologies is a plus.
- Prior lab experience (a plus).
Responsibilities
- Assist research and development engineers with various projects, from concept development to testing and analysis (may vary by project)
- Conduct research and analyze data to support the advancement of new technologies and product innovations
- Contribute to the design, development, and testing of prototypes (may vary by project)
- Document research findings and participate in technical presentations (may vary by project)
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to Marmon’s businesses
