Education & Qualifications Requirements:

Education:

  • Full understanding of climate resilience concepts, regional climate challenges, and effective intervention strategies.
  • Academic background in the field of Climate / Environmental Science / Environmental Policy / Soil Science, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Have a University degree in public international relations.

Work Experiences:

  • Full understanding of climate resilience concepts / regional climate challenges, and effective intervention strategies, especially in the context of the European Union and its Member States.
  • Academic background ideally in the field of Climate, Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Soil Science, or Environmental Engineering.
  • A starter or some years of experience working in the field of European projects.
  • An experience through an internship, working for a research, policy, or technical stakeholder in the field of regional resilience would be a plus.

Languages:

  • Fluency in the English language is Required (both oral and written).
  • Having a Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (Germany, French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) both oral and written.

Key Responsibilities Career:

  • Designing and implementing research and demonstration activities on transformative adaptation with regional stakeholders.
  • Writing deliverables/executing tasks, and actively participating in online and in-person project meetings.
  • Propose and create content while managing your workload to ensure the success of climate resilience and neutrality projects.
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement through communication campaigns/presentations, and other relevant activities.
  • Contributing to the organization of events aimed at fostering collaboration and shared learning in the context of climate resilience.
