Credit Intern – Agribusiness

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in finance, accounting, agriculture, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A basic understanding of financial statements and loan analysis principles (a plus).
• Interest in learning about the agribusiness industry (a plus).

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Business Services team with evaluating loan applications for agribusiness clients.
• Analyze financial statements and assess the creditworthiness of potential borrowers.
• Conduct research and gather information to support loan decisions.
• Prepare loan summaries and recommendations for credit approval.
• Maintain accurate and organized loan files.
• Assist with other departmental tasks as assigned.
