Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a proactive approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with Excel skills preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and collection practices a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze invoices and customer accounts to identify potential collection issues.
- Research and contact customers to discuss outstanding payments and negotiate payment plans.
- Process payments and update customer accounts.
- Generate reports on collection activities and performance metrics.
- Assist with creditworthiness assessments and risk management procedures.
- Contribute to other credit and collections projects as assigned.
- Maintain a professional and ethical demeanor in all interactions.
