Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in finance, economics, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A genuine interest in the banking industry and a desire to learn about correspondent banking (a plus)
Responsibilities
- Assist with processing and analyzing loan documentation submitted by correspondent banks.
- Support the underwriting process by gathering and verifying loan information.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of reports and databases related to correspondent banking activities.
- Assist with communication and relationship management with correspondent bank contacts.
- May be involved in research projects to identify trends and opportunities within the correspondent banking market (as assigned).
