The project is based in New Orleans, Louisiana, a vibrant city rich in history and culture. You’ll be placed in areas still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Katrina and other disasters.

Fees:

• Programs start at an affordable rate of $685 for one week.
• This fee is all-inclusive, covering airport pickup, orientation, accommodation in a shared volunteer house with other volunteers, some meals, and 24/7 in-country support.

Volunteer Requirements:

• Applicants must be 14 years or older (parental/guardian accompaniment required for those under 18).
• Prior construction experience is not mandatory, but a willingness to learn, physical fitness, and a positive attitude are essential.
• You’ll be expected to participate in construction activities that may involve manual labor.
• A criminal background check is required for all volunteers aged 14 and above.
• Basic English communication skills are necessary.
