Education & Qualifications Requirements:

Education:

  • Have a University degree in communication and journalism.
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in social or environmental policy/ government and diplomacy.
  • Have a University degree in political science / social sciences and international relations.
  • Have University degree in public health.

Work Experiences:

  • Full experience in developing and maintaining partnerships on restoration and other Natural Climate Solutions with different sectors, including UN agencies.
  • Excellent work experience working in GEF, GCF, and other multilateral programs.
  • Ability to produce engaging media communication materials in French and English.
  • Perfect skills in the development and implementation of communication, media products/ plans, and tactics.
  • Good ability to conceptualize ideas and advocate consensus.
  • Good in Presentation skills.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure to achieve multiple deadlines.
  • Full-Knowledge of understanding of NGO missions and goals.
  • Knowledge in public health.

Languages:

  • Fluency in the English language is Required (both oral and written).
  • Knowing another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) both oral and written.

Key Responsibilities Career:

  • Full skill in developing and maintaining partnerships on restoration and other Natural Climate Solutions with different sectors, including UN agencies.
  • Responsible for restoration & engagement reports directly to the Restoration Partnerships Director in the Center for Natural Climate Solutions.
  • Full-skill in convening/coordinating / managing / and facilitating cross-sectoral multitasked holder groups.
  • Full experience in improving and providing advocacy guidance to the private sector and leading governments in transforming patriarchal masculinities.
  • Responsible for Transforming technical content into high-quality media communication materials.
  • The ability to Foster new and existing media contacts/build institutional credibility and establish effective working relationships with media representatives across the Region.
  • Responsible for Conducting regular media monitoring to analyze current events and public opinion to advise supervisors on emerging media opportunities.
  • Have the ability to facilitate and organize media communications training workshops and forums for supporting knowledge communication capacity.
