Summary:
The Government and Community Relations Department at the Los Angeles Dodgers oversees the organization’s efforts in government, civic engagement, community outreach, and philanthropy. We prioritize the establishment and maintenance of relationships with local leaders, government and non-profit organizations, community and neighborhood groups, as well as players and their families. Our department plays an active role in the community by focusing on strategic legislative priorities and implementing key community programs. We aim to create impactful events and initiatives that extend beyond the stadium, collaborating with Dodgers players, alumni, and their families to serve diverse communities throughout Los Angeles County, with a specific emphasis on health, education, and the military.
As a Community Affairs Intern, you will provide comprehensive support across various activities within the Community Affairs Department. This includes assisting in the planning and execution of a wide range of community programs and events, such as team, player, sponsor, and community initiatives.

Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
To be eligible for this internship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree as a rising sophomore, junior, or senior, OR enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
- Availability to reside and work in Los Angeles or the assigned office location for the entire 3-month program during the summer months.
- Maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Demonstrated passion for working in a professional sports team environment.
- Proactive and innovative thinking.
