Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in communications, journalism, Marketing, public relations, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A keen interest in the automotive industry (a plus).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Team player with a positive and results-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing engaging content for Tenneco’s digital media platforms (website, social media).
• Draft internal and external communication materials, such as press releases and employee newsletters.
• Support the Communications team with various projects and initiatives, including media relations and event planning (as applicable).
• Conduct research and compile data to support communication efforts.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor communications (as applicable).
