Education & Qualifications Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in  communications / journalism.
  • Bachelor’s degree in media studies
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in structure development / community development.
  • Have University degree in public relations.

Work Experiences:

  • Work Experience in writing and editing in humanitarian and development advocacy.
  • Work Experience in crafting impactful and engaging written content.
  • Work Experience in digital media and social media content creation.
  • Work Experience in structure development / community development.
  • Full-Knowledge of understanding of NGOs missions and goals.
  • Full-Knowledge in public relations.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English language is Required (both oral and written).
  • Have a Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) both oral and written.

Key Responsibilities Career:

  • Responsible for researching writing and editing a wide range of content / including articles. reports, media materials, opinion pieces.
  • Responsible for editing and proofreading various types of written materials to ensure accuracy, consistency / clarity / and adherence to UNICEF’s guidelines.
  • Responsible for conducting research and fact checking to ensure the accuracy and credibility of information.
  • Responsible for collaborating with colleagues to develop compelling narratives that showcase UNICEF’s achievements.
