Qualifications

• Passion for parks, recreation, and community engagement (a plus)
• Currently enrolled in a college or university program (or recent graduate)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to take initiative

Responsibilities

• Assist with program planning, registration, and event coordination
• Participate in park maintenance and beautification projects
• Lead or assist with recreational activities and educational programs
• Provide exceptional customer service to park visitors and program participants
• Contribute to marketing and outreach efforts for Columbia Parks and Recreation initiatives
• May assist with administrative tasks such as data entry or social media management (depending on placement)
