College Pipeline Internship

Kaiser Permanente’s College Pipeline Internship program is designed to cultivate future healthcare leaders from underrepresented communities. This multi-year program provides students with hands-on experience in various healthcare departments, mentorship opportunities, and exposure to the inner workings of a leading integrated healthcare organization.

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a college or university (typically with a focus on sophomore or junior year)
• Must be accepted by the Kaiser Permanente College Pipeline Internship Program.
• Demonstrated interest in a healthcare career path.
• Strong academic performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in rotations through various Kaiser Permanente departments, gaining exposure to diverse healthcare functions.
• Assist with assigned projects under the guidance of experienced professionals.
• Conduct research and data analysis to support departmental initiatives.
• Develop and present findings and recommendations to teams.
• Attend workshops and training sessions focused on professional development and career exploration in healthcare.
