Education & Qualifications Requirements:

Education:

  • Have Bachelor’s degree in sustainable development, public affairs, international relations, political science.
  • Have Bachelor’s degree in project management.

Work Experiences:

  • Have minimum of five years of experience in general office support .
  • Have minimum five years of experience in sustainable development.
  • Skilled in track record in analytical research.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English language is Required (both oral and written).
  • Have a Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) both oral and written.

 

Key Responsibilities Career:

  • Resposible for Assisting  the coordination of planning and preparation work for IOM’s 3R/Circular economy project.
  • Responsible for Serving as focal point for administrative coordination of project implementation activities.
  • Skilled in Compiles, summarizes, and presents basic data on specific programmes and projects.
  • Responsible for Reviewing project documents, especially cost plans/budgets, for completeness and compliance with relevant rules.
  • Responsible for Reviewing budget revisions, verifies availability of funds; ensures necessary approval and entry in computerized budget system.
  • Skilled in updating periodic reports, briefing notes, graphic and statistical summaries, accounting spreadsheets.
  • Responsible for Carrying out basic research on selected aspects of assigned training courses, including the collection, analysis and presentation of statistical data.
