Summer Program Student Interns

Summary

Calling all creative and energetic students! The Berkshire Hills Regional School District’s CLEO (Community Learning & Enrichment Opportunities) Summer Program is searching for passionate student interns. This exciting program allows you to design and lead engaging activities for elementary, middle, or high school students during the summer months. Develop your leadership skills, gain valuable experience in youth development, and make a positive impact on your peers this summer!

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a student (grades 9-12) in the Berkshire Hills Regional School District.
• Strong leadership skills, creativity, and a passion for working with younger students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to plan and lead engaging activities aligned with the CLEO program’s goals (collaborative learning, experiential activities, etc.).
• Demonstrated reliability and commitment to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for assigned age groups (elementary, middle, or high school) based on CLEO’s program themes.
• Lead small group activities and supervise students in a safe and inclusive environment.
• Assist with program set-up, clean-up, and other logistical tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with other student interns and program staff to ensure a smooth and successful program.
• Participate in professional development opportunities offered by the CLEO program.
