Enhanced Clean Air Innovation Trials Grant

Summary:
This grant, funded by Innovate UK as part of the Clean Air Strategic Priorities Fund Programme, awards a share of £800,000 to support the development of pre-commercial innovations focused on monitoring, mitigating, or extracting air pollution. The program aims to fund extended field trials to evaluate and enhance these solutions for commercialization. Clinical trials are not eligible under this grant.

Eligibility:

  • Open to organizations of any size, either working alone or collaborating with subcontractors.
  • You must have a pre-commercial innovation directly related to:
    • Monitoring air pollution (e.g., advanced sensors, data analysis tools)
    • Mitigating air pollution (e.g., emission reduction technologies, air filtration systems)
    • Extracting air pollution (e.g., carbon capture technologies, direct air capture)
  • The innovation must require further testing and development before commercialization.
  • Only one legal entity can receive a contract per project.
