Volunteer HQ offers a childcare volunteer program in St. Mary, Jamaica, where volunteers can make a positive impact by assisting in early childhood education centers. Fees:
- Affordable fees starting from $525 for one week.
- Fees cover accommodation, daily breakfast, airport pick-up, orientation, and 24/7 support.
Volunteer Requirements:
- Volunteers must be aged 18 or above (families are also welcome).
- Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and may need to provide additional documentation.
- All volunteers aged 13 or above must provide a criminal background check or two-character reference letters.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Adequate volunteer travel insurance is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe space for children to learn.
- Assist with informal learning and developmental activities.
- Collaborate with local teachers.
- Bring creative ideas to the classroom.
