Education & Qualifications Requirements:

Education:

  • Master’s degree in engineering / economic.
  • Master’s degree in social sciences and engineering.
  • University degree in international relations or natural sciences.

Work Experiences:

  • Work Experience in coordinating and implementing large scale and complex programmes.
  • Work Experience in working in Multilateral Environmental Agreements.
  • Experience in implementation of technical cooperation / development projects.
  • Experience in developing and implementing capacity building programmes.
  • Work Experience in working with government institutions and international or non-governmental organizations supporting gender.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English language is Required (both oral and written).

Key Responsibilities Career:

  • Responsible for providing expert support to the Project Team.
  • Responsible for reviewing project document and relevant UNIDO documents on the requirements for gender mainstreaming.
  • Responsible for developing the draft National Waste Management Strategy.
  • Responsible for collecting sex disaggregated baseline data that could be used to monitor potential gender impacts.
  • Responsible for developing the recommendations and proposals for the new ODS and POPs.
