Chatham House Fellowship: Work on Climate & Sustainability Solutions (Deadline April 22nd)

Calling all passionate individuals with experience in forced displacement!

Chatham House, a prestigious international affairs institute, offers a 10-month fellowship focused on climate and sustainability solutions for displaced populations. This program is a collaboration with the Global Platform for Action on Sustainable Energy in Displacement Settings (GPA) and the University of Oxford Refugee-Led Research Hub (RLRH).

What You’ll Do:

  • Spend 10 months at Chatham House in London.
  • Develop a research project related to humanitarian energy access for refugees.
  • Contribute to the Environment and Society Programme and the GPA Transforming Humanitarian Energy Access (THEA) program.

Who Can Apply?

  • Individuals with lived experience of forced displacement (refugees, asylum seekers, etc.).
  • A completed Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with research experience.
  • Early-to-mid-career professionals in academia, NGOs, government, media, etc.
  • Strong interest in international affairs, climate change, and Chatham House’s mission.
  • Excellent communication and English language skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential.
  • (Ideal) Strong quantitative data analysis skills.

Selection Process:

  • Applications reviewed by a selection committee.
  • Shortlisted candidates interviewed via Zoom.
  • Final selection based on criteria listed above.
