As an intern in the Accounting department, you will collaborate closely with your hiring manager, mentor, and team to fulfill essential tasks that are crucial for the success of Northwestern Mutual. Our objective is to support you in identifying and further cultivating your career goals and interests.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in accounting or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Maintains a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
- Previous experience in accounting, gained through work or classroom settings.
- This role does not offer employer immigration sponsorship.
Preferred skills and proficiencies:

- Prior internship experience or relevant project experience in accounting.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
- High level of self-motivation, enthusiasm, and a strong desire for continuous learning.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks concurrently.
