Summary:

As a Business Strategy Intern at Google Cloud, your role will be pivotal in shaping the growth and success of businesses that collaborate with Google. Leveraging your knowledge of online media, along with your exceptional communication and analytical skills, you will contribute to the development of new and existing businesses. By utilizing your ability to build relationships, you will provide top-tier client service, conduct thorough research and market analysis, and grasp the unique business requirements of Google’s key clients. Together, you will create a vision and strategy to enhance their advertising reach to a broad user base.

Throughout this paid, full-time internship lasting 10 to 14 weeks, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact through your contributions to a team-specific project. An assigned intern manager will guide and inspire you, oversee your work, assist in defining project objectives, and support your professional growth.

Google Cloud empowers employees and organizations to deliver exceptional service to customers, develop innovative solutions, and transform their businesses using cutting-edge cloud technology. As an intern, you will engage in projects related to Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace, which may encompass tasks such as pricing analysis, customer research, market analysis, product positioning, scaled business strategy, and business case development.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program.
  • Previous experience in technology or technical sales within cloud computing, computer science, or big data fields, etc.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Cloud Computing (e.g., SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) products or business models and their related strategies.
  • Experience in direct client sales, customer support, or account management.
  • Ability to effectively present and simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to handle strategic business challenges.
  • Availability to complete a 10–14-week internship during the summer of 2024 and return to an MBA degree program upon completion.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster collaboration with internal business partners, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to achieve project deliverables.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to executive leaders regarding high-priority challenges.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, including business growth modeling and impact assessments, to support proposed actions.
  • Deliver synthesized findings and recommendations through presentations to leadership.
