Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university with a graduation timeframe between December 2024 and June 2025
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 preferred
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- A keen interest in the financial markets and the commodities sector
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- A desire to learn and a proactive approach to work
Responsibilities
- Participate in rotations through various commodities desks, including:
- Structuring and Origination
- Sales
- Oil
- Natural Gas
- Power
- Investor Products
- Assist with research and analysis of market trends and data
- Support senior analysts and traders with daily tasks
- Contribute to the development of presentations and marketing materials
- Gain exposure to risk management practices
Further intern responsibilities may include:
- Work on specific commodity-related transactions, including deal valuation and structuring as well as participate in internal and external discussion developing structured deal solutions for customers.
- Assist market strategists and traders to integrate fundamental points of view with trading strategies.
- Work with teams to develop marketing presentations, develop models, assimilate historical data and generate reports that create interest in commodities and develop new business.
