Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university.
- Strong interest in government, public policy, and healthcare issues.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with research and analysis of legislative bills and healthcare policy proposals.
- Support advocacy efforts on key issues impacting Atlantic Health System and the communities it serves.
- Attend legislative hearings, government meetings, and industry events.
- Develop presentations and communication materials for internal and external audiences.
- Contribute to the department’s social media presence and public outreach initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned by the Government & Public Affairs team.
