Education & Qualifications Requirements:
Education:
Required academic qualifications:
1. Completion of full secondary education.
2. Completion of a two years degree in physiotherapy from a recognized institution;
Professional qualifications:
1- Possession of a license to practice physiotherapy services (where applicable).
2- Experience in the use of computers and an understanding of their use in health applications.
Work Experiences:
- At least two years’ experience in providing physiotherapy services is required.
Languages:
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English and Arabic.
Key Responsibilities Career:
The incumbent:
1. Performs physical rehabilitation treatment to patients suffering from functional impairments referred by UNRWA Medical Officers;
2. Assists senior physiotherapist or physiotherapist in performing complicated physical rehabilitation interventions like nerve injuries as may require;
3. Brings to the attention of senior physiotherapist or physiotherapist or medical officers such cases as may require referral;
4. Trains and instructs patients and their family members on home Program and home care to develop self-reliance and conducts home visits as required;
5. Maintains records of patients treated at the Agency’s physiotherapy clinic and provides statistical data on the operation of the clinic using the E-Health information system;
6. Performs cleaning and disinfection of physiotherapy tools and equipment;
7. Performs habilitation and treatment to hospital inpatients.
8. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
