Education & Qualifications Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism Communication.
- Have University degree in political science / social sciences.
- Bachelor’s degree in international relations.
Work Experiences:
- Work Experience in local institution, politics and culture.
- Work Experience of UNHCR learning programmes or specific training relevant to functions of the position.
- Full-Knowledge of understanding of NGOs missions and goals.
- Full-Knowledge in public relations.
Languages:
- Fluency in English language is Required (both oral and written).
- Have a Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) both oral and written.
Key Responsibilities Career:
- Responsible for assisting the management in dealing with the challenges posed by the political context.
- Responsible for assisting in the dialogue with donors and embassies and provide accurate information by organizing regular briefings.
- Responsible for participating when requested in the inter-agency cooperation and communication strategies.
- Responsible for conducting eligibility and status determination for PoC in compliance with UNHCR procedural standards.
- Responsible for producing reports for donor agencies.
