The Arjen Ryder Memorial Scholarship has been established in honor of Mr. Arjen Ryder and his wife Yvonne. It aims to encourage and assist high-achieving undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor of Science (Honours) or Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) with a thesis related to sustainable agricultural practices at the UWA Albany Centre.

Eligibility
(a) be enrolled or eligible to enrol
(i) full-time unless the selection committee is satisfied that there are exceptional circumstances which preclude full-time enrolment
(ii) at the UWA Albany Centre
(iii) in an honours course leading to a Bachelor of Science (Honours) or Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) with a thesis relating to sustainable agricultural practices and
(b) demonstrate how their research will be of benefit to the Great Southern Region of Western Australia.
