The Department of Labor (DOL) is awarding grants through the Apprenticeship Building America, Round 2 (ABA2) program to expand and diversify registered apprenticeship opportunities across the United States. These grants aim to create, expand, and improve high-quality registered apprenticeship programs in various industries, with a particular focus on:

  • High-growth and emerging industries
  • Underserved communities
  • Stackable credentials and portable skills
  • Industry-recognized certifications

Employment and Training Administration

Eligibility:

  • State and local workforce development boards
  • Indian tribes and tribal workforce organizations
  • Employer consortia or associations
  • Registered Apprenticeship programs or sponsors
  • Community colleges and other institutions of higher education (in partnership with eligible entities)
