We are pleased to offer University of Exeter alumni beginning a standalone taught master’s degree (Eg MA, MSc, MRes, MFA, LLM) or research degree (Eg MPhil, PhD) with us a scholarship towards the cost of their tuition fees.
These scholarships are worth 20% of the first-year tuition fee for students enrolling in a postgraduate taught or research program of study in 2024/25. The PGCE program is also eligible for this award.

Awards are available to all home and international University of Exeter alumni who have:
- graduated from an undergraduate or postgraduate degree awarded by the University of Exeter.
- completed an inbound Study Abroad semester/year at the University of Exeter.
- completed a credit-bearing University of Exeter International Summer School inquiry form.
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must meet the entry requirements for your chosen postgraduate program and enroll in this program in 2024/25 (1 September 2024 – 31 August 2025).
(The current University of Exeter students completing their program in 2024 and progressing directly to another standalone University of Exeter degree program are eligible for an equivalent award – see the University of Exeter Class of 2024 Progression Scholarship.)
How to apply:
The scholarship will be applied automatically to eligible postgraduate applicants enrolling for study in 2024/25. A separate scholarship application is not required.
When submitting your postgraduate program application via our application portal, please remember to complete the relevant section to indicate your previous Exeter study. PGCE applicants need to apply via the Department for Education (DfE) application page.
This award is not recurrent for subsequent years of study. Please read the full Terms and Conditions for this scholarship.
