Summary:

The Al Qasimi Foundation Seed Grants 2024 facilitate project-based research collaborations among researchers from ETH Zurich, EPFL, and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Eligibility:

The team for the Al Qasimi Foundation Seed Grants 2024 must comprise at least two different organizations, with one being based in the United Arab Emirates. The applicant should demonstrate the capacity to successfully carry out the proposed project or applied research based on past experiences. To achieve the anticipated goals and outcomes, the applicant must leverage matching funds, expertise, or other in-kind resources. The proposal should primarily focus on Ras Al Khaimah, the emirate in the United Arab Emirates. While other locations can be included, Ras Al Khaimah must play a significant role in data collection and analysis. The proposal must address an education, public policy, or closely related social science issue that is relevant to Ras Al Khaimah and the United Arab Emirates. It should also align with the Al Qasimi Foundation’s 2019-2023 Research, Capacity Development, or Community Engagement strategies. Considerations for sustainability and the expected next steps after the Seed Grant funding ends should also be addressed in the proposal.
