Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Agronomy, Agriculture, Plant Science, or a related field (minimum of 1 year completed)
- A strong interest in learning about agronomy practices and the seed industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- A valid driver’s license (depending on location)
Responsibilities
- Assist with inventory management of seeds, fertilizers, and other agricultural products
- Participate in agronomy training sessions to learn about seed selection, crop protection, and best practices
- Assist with field scouting activities to assess crop health (as trained)
- Help prepare and maintain demonstration plots and informational signage
- Assist customers with product selection and answer basic questions about agronomy.
