Advanced Nursing Education – Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (ANE-SANE) Program
Summary:
The Advanced Nursing Education – Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (ANE-SANE) Program, funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), aims to increase the number of qualified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs) nationwide. Grants support advanced nursing education programs in training and certifying Registered Nurses, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, and Forensic Nurses to become SANEs.

- Accredited schools of nursing
- State-controlled institutions of higher education
- Private, nonprofit institutions of higher education
- Public entities (state, county, city, special district, independent school district)

- Other nonprofit entities with IRS status other than 501(c)(3) (restrictions apply)
- Tribes and tribal organizations
- Native American tribal governments
