The key responsibilities:
- Assisting with core accounting activities under supervision to support internal projects. This may involve applying acquired knowledge, and interns may have limited approval and/or exception authority.
- Participating in learning initiatives and mentoring programs within the organization, including valuable job shadowing opportunities.
- The internship is open to 3rd or 4th year undergraduate students who possess relevant skills, even if they have little or no professional experience. Individuals who have joined the company through corporate development or training programs will also be considered. Smith Micro values a combination of education and experience, including military service, in lieu of a degree.
The required qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree, with a preference for business-related majors such as Finance or Accounting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in their work.
- Analytical thinking skills to effectively analyze financial data.
- Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely.
