Calgary Entrance Awards

Summary:

The Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. Entrance Awards are offered by the University of Calgary to recognize outstanding undergraduate students entering their first year in any faculty. The awards focus on both academic merit and financial need.

• Deadline for High School Awards and Bursaries: March 1 (application closes), March 15 (document deadline).

• Deadline for Prestige Awards: December 1 (application closes), December 15 (document deadline).

Eligibility:

• Open to Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
• Entering first year of any undergraduate program at the University of Calgary.
• Demonstrate strong academic achievement (minimum high school average of 90%).

• Renewable for up to three additional years (minimum GPA of 2.00 on 24 units in the previous fall and winter terms required).
