Eliud Kipchoge is a Kenyan long-distance runner who is widely regarded as the greatest marathoner of all time. He has won 12 out of 13 marathons he has entered, including four Olympic gold medals and eight World Marathon Majors titles. He also holds the official world record for the marathon, with a time of 2:01:39, which he set at the 2018 Berlin Marathon. However, his most remarkable achievement was running a marathon in under two hours, a feat that many thought was impossible. He accomplished this on October 12, 2019, at the INEOS 1:59 Challenge in Vienna, Austria, where he ran 26.2 miles in 1:59:40, breaking the two-hour barrier for the first time in history. He did this with the help of a team of pacemakers, a specially designed course, and optimal weather conditions. He said that his goal was to inspire people and show that no human is limited¹.

Katie Ledecky is an American swimmer who is one of the most decorated and dominant athletes in the sport. She has won seven Olympic gold medals and 15 world championships, and has broken 14 world records in various events. She is known for her versatility and endurance, as she can excel in distances ranging from 200 to 1,500 meters. She is also known for her incredible margins of victory, often leaving her competitors far behind. One of her most impressive performances was at the 2016 Rio Olympics, where she won four gold medals and one silver medal, and set two world records. She won the 800-meter freestyle by 11.38 seconds, the largest gap in Olympic history. She also became the first woman to win the 200, 400, and 800-meter freestyle in the same Olympics².

Simone Biles is an American gymnast who is widely considered as the greatest gymnast of all time. She has won 30 Olympic and World Championship medals, the most by any gymnast in history. She has also performed skills that no other gymnast has ever done, and has four skills named after her in the sport’s code of points. She is known for her power, speed, and difficulty, as well as her consistency and artistry. She has revolutionized the sport of gymnastics, and has raised the standards for future generations. One of her most amazing feats was at the 2019 World Championships, where she became the first gymnast to land a triple-double (two flips and three twists) on the floor exercise, and the first woman to land a double-double (two flips and two twists) on the balance beam. She also won five gold medals, becoming the most decorated gymnast in World Championship history³.
