Voice1Africa and Sound Mind Buildup launched the EDP For Africa (Entrepreneurship Development Program for Africa) in 2021. The project’s primary goals are to train young African entrepreneurs, empower them financially, and foster a connected Africa where business collaboration among Africans thrives. This initiative seeks to create an environment conducive to economic growth and collaboration among African entrepreneurs by maximizing the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement. The AfCFTA agreement will connect 1.3 billion people across 55 African countries, facilitating collaboration and opening up economic opportunities. With a combined gross domestic product (GDP) valued at US$3.4 trillion, it is set to become the world’s largest free trade area in terms of participating countries.

Eligibility:
Must be between 18 and 35 years old, doing business in Africa or intending to start one
