Education & Qualifications Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management / Security Risk Management.Security and Safety certification.
  • Have University degree in political science / social sciences  and international relations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Security and Safety certification..

Work Experiences:

  • Work Experience in having established networks with Host Government or other security actors from previous employment.
  • Work Experience support the Representative or Head of Office in managing staff safety and security of Organization.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure to achieve multiple deadlines.
  • Full-Knowledge of understanding of NGOs missions and goals.
  • Full-Knowledge in public relations.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English language is Required (both oral and written).
  • Have a Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) both oral and written.

Key Responsibilities Career:

  • Responsible for advising and supporting the Representative or Head of Office in managing staff safety and security of UNHCR.
  • Responsible for evaluating existing security measures to determine their appropriateness and identify areas needing improvement.
  • Responsible for advising on and assist in ensuring compliance with standard established through the Security Risk Management process.
  • Responsible for assisting and develop plans for evacuation/relocation medical evacuation and other security contingencies.
