The Faculty of Science Excellence Master Fellowships 2024- Geneva

Summary:
The Faculty of Science Excellence Master Fellowships is a one-year program that provides participants with financial support, access to world-class experts, and networking opportunities. It is open to students of any university who have very good performance in their studies (belonging to the best 10% of their bachelor’s program) and who have completed the Bachelor degree or expect to complete it within 6 months. The application deadline is February 28, 2024.

Application requirements:
To apply, you need to have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any of the scientific disciplines covered by the Faculty of Science, or expect to complete it within 6 months. You also need to submit a CV, a personal statement, two work samples, and two references.

Fellowship benefits:
As a fellow, you will receive a grant of CHF 10,000 to CHF 15,000 per year, which can help you to cover the cost of living and studying in Geneva. You will also have access to world-class experts, project management, advocacy, and diplomacy skills, and networking opportunities. You will also join a network of diverse and passionate scientists who share your vision and values.

Fellowship type:
The fellowship is a full-time, immersive, and remote program that lasts for one year, from September 2024 to August 2025. You will work on your own projects and assignments, as well as collaborate with other fellows and mentors throughout the program. The fellowship can be extended for the regular duration of the chosen Master’s programme (three or four semesters) provided the applicant is academically successful at the end of his/her first semester of studies.

Award Fellowships:
15 fellows will be selected by The Faculty of Science for the 2024 cohort. Selection will be based on the quality and diversity of the applications.
The fellowship is funded by the Faculty of Science and external partners.
