Education & Qualifications Requirements:
Education:
- Master’s degree in food and agriculture safety / quality management.
- Master’s degree in food sciences and engineering.
- University degree in Business administration / Economic.
Work Experiences:
- Work Experience in the field of agriculture equality mainstreaming.
- Work Experience in working in the field of agriculture safety and quality management.
- Experience in implementation of technical cooperation / development projects.
- Experience in developing and implementing capacity building programmes.
- Work Experience in working with government institutions and international or non-governmental organizations supporting gender.
Languages:
- Fluency in English language is Required (both oral and written).
- Have a Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) both oral and written.
Key Responsibilities Career:
- Responsible for overseeing the plan.ning / design, and implementation of the LIFSI food safety centered interventions
- Responsible for reviewing project document and relevant UNIDO documents on the requirements for gender mainstreaming.
- Responsible for conducting a detailed food safety analysis through survey or interviews.
- Responsible for collecting sex disaggregated baseline data that could be used to monitor potential gender impacts.
- Responsible for integrating relevant gender components from the plan of action for gender mainstreaming in the workplan of the project activities.
