Education & Qualifications Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management/Security Risk Management.
  • Security and Safety certification.
  • Have a University degree in political science/social sciences and international relations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Security and Safety certification.

Work Experiences:

  • Work Experience in having established networks with the Host Government or other security actors from previous employment.
  • Work Experience supports the Representative or Head of Office in managing staff safety and security of the organization. Have the ability to work under pressure to achieve multiple deadlines.
  • Full knowledge of understanding of NGOs’ missions and goals.
  • Knowledge of public relations.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English language is Required (both oral and written).
  • Having a Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) both oral and written.

Key Responsibilities Career:

  • Responsible for supporting the Protection Cluster to ensure that protection informs and shapes the overall humanitarian response.
  • Responsible for providing comments on existing and draft legislation related to PoC.
  • Responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on protection issues to PoC.
  • Responsible for conducting eligibility and status determination for PoC in compliance with UNHCR procedural standards.
  • Responsible for contributing to a country-level child protection plan as part of the protection strategy.
