Public Health Expert Volunteer

Onsite Public Health Expert Volunteer with WHO QAT at Qatar

Summary:

This opportunity is open for all nationalities who are aged between 18 to 80. It will be for 12 months with possibility of extension and the volunteer is expected to start at 01/09/2024.

Volunteer’s tasks include but not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate technical assistance to MOH focal points in various public health disci-plines.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic documentation and concept notes for pro-gramme activities, as well as communication products with a public health advocacy objective.
  • Work with Country Office team in developing initiatives focusing on NCDs, promote working on determinants, best practices to improve health.
  • Contribute to the design of innovative projects and approaches as per MOPH priorities.

Location:

The assignment will be at Doha, Qatar.

Requirements:

 

  • Master degree or equivalent in Public health or related field.
  • 15 years of experience in an organization with a scientific/public health mandate.
  • Experience in program management and implementation of public health programs
  • Good writing and communication skills, computer skills and use of software
  • Fluency in English is required.
