Information Technology Intern | Los Angeles Dodgers

Summary:

The Information Technology team at the Los Angeles Dodgers is responsible for providing comprehensive technology support across the organization. They are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join them as an Information Technology Intern. This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to the development, maintenance, and support of applications aligned with the organization’s business needs. LA Dodgers Information Tech Team are looking for a candidate who can handle diverse challenges, adapt to evolving frameworks and platforms, and propose innovative solutions.

Position Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Basic programming/coding skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to construct and deliver effective presentations, conveying complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Eagerness to learn about best practices and modern technology infrastructure for development and deployment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and actively participate in demos and discussions.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capable of meeting deadlines and handling multiple tasks concurrently.

Basic Requirements/Qualifications:

To be eligible for this internship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree as a rising sophomore, junior, or senior, OR enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
  • Availability to reside and work in Los Angeles or the assigned office location for the entire 3-month program during the summer months.
  • Maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
  • Demonstrating a passion for working in a professional sports team environment.
  • Displaying proactive and innovative thinking.
