Our Summer Internship Program offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical work experience and contribute to your personal and professional development through meaningful projects. During the 12-week program, you will collaborate with industry experts, receive comprehensive on-the-job training, and participate in professional development workshops, executive speaker series, and various networking and social events. As a Global Planning Intern, you will play a vital role within the Connectivity and Cable Solutions organization. Your primary responsibilities will involve close collaboration with the Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Distribution Planning teams to improve S&OP process documentation and develop effective execution strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside our Planning Center of Excellence to create and refine an S&OP Playbook.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Planning team to assess and optimize inventory levels in international locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or master’s program in Supply Chain or Operations Management from an accredited university.
  • Strong academic track record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Unrestricted work authorization without requiring future sponsorship.
  • Military-affiliated candidates, including Veterans, Military Spouses, and Guard/Reservists, are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication.
  • Ability to generate innovative ideas and present them to the team.
  • Capacity to manage multiple assignments concurrently and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Possession of strategic and creative thinking, exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Location:

This internship position is available in either Shakopee, Minnesota or Claremont, North Carolina.
